Splitleaf tune writing competition

The Digital Splitleaf is pleased to announce a tune writing competition. Composers, music students, church musicians, and anyone who enjoys writing music are invited to submit original four‑part tunes using a text from the 1650 Scottish Metrical Psalter.

Deadline: 31 August 2026
Prizes: £150 (first), £100 (second), £50 (third)
Winning entries will be performed at the Splitleaf Psalm Sing in November
